What is your outlet for stress? Susan’s is baking. The process of making things that bring friends and family (and herself) joy is the antidote to a bad day. Starting at a young age, Susan found a place in the kitchen - starting with helping her parents and grandmother, to baking for high school projects, then graduating into creating all kinds of concoctions for friends through college, grad school, and into adulthood. It’s a special feeling when you walk into a room with treats and everyone’s faces light up.
By day, Susan leads data analytics groups at tech companies. Her team is always happy to try her latest baked goods, and Susan is happy to have an extra audience so she doesn’t eat it all herself! Nights and weekends are reserved for reading, friends, and baking. It’s no surprise that her mathematical background has led to her new experimental approach to bread and baking. Why keep a paper lab notebook when you can digitally immortalize successes and failures?
Susan hopes you enjoy following her adventures. Reach out anytime - she’s happy to share her tips.
